La Santa is a fishing village on the north coast of Lanzarote, the village is famous as it's home to the Club La Santa sporting complex, La Santa organize sporting events all year round, running, cycling, triathlon. La Santa has some 20 restaurants so there's plenty to choose from everything from local fish to Italian, Chinese and French. La Santa is a world famous surfing destination and the apartment is directly in front of “El Quemao" (check out “El Quemao Class" on you tube, it's a surf competition my company organises every year). El quemao is widely considered the best wave in Europe. You also get perfect views to the other waves in La Santa, the left, the centre and the point (morro negro). The port of La Santa is right in front of the apartment, local fisherman use the port and most of the fish caught goes to the local restaurants. The small harbour is surrounded by sunbeds and is used as a swimming pool.

If you're wanting a safe secluded beach 400 metres up the road just before Club La Santa there is a great beach there that's 100% safe.

The village also has a great cycle shop, surf school, good supermarket and bars.

Lanzarote enjoys year round good weather, great winter sun location being only 4 hours flight from the UK and northern Europe. Most famous local attraction is the Timanfaya National Park where you can see the most amazing volcanic lunar landscape. There are lots of other attractions not to miss like the caves at Jameos del Agua, the green caves, Mirador del Rio, El Golfo, the Sunday market at Teguise, Cesar Manrique's house, the cactus garden and the wine growing region at La Geria.

There are countless magnificent white sand beaches aswell as the famous black sand beach at El Golfo. The island is ideal for watersports such as surfing, kitesurfing, windsurfing, diving, snorkelling, fishing, boating, golf and swimming. The island is famous for triathlon and especially it's ironman international event. The island is a cycle paradise both for road and off road enthusiasts. There are fantastic sports facilities all over the island.

The house has its own private parking right next to the front door, we would recommend a rental car for your trip, they are very cheap on the island!

The apartment was very clean, has enough space for one person and just enough for 2 if staying up to 1 week. The kitchen has got all basic eqipment, Wifi runs perfect. The location right by the sea is unbeatable.

By the ocean

A tiny pretty house, on the outskirts of a little fishing village, just meters away from the ocean. This was absolutely amazing, such a peaceful location and the ocean waves at night in the silence.
