Beautiful and completely secluded south facing bungalow with panoramic sea views.
The bungalow has a TV and video as well as broadband WI-FI. The bungalow has a large south facing terrace that gets the sun all day. There is a pergola covering a shaded area on the terrace with outside dining table and chairs for 6 people. There are also 4 sun loungers on the terrace. The bungalow has communal swimming pool shared with the villa next door. Tias has a number or restaurants, supermarkets and bars.
This 2 bed spacious bungalow in Tías sleeps 4 people. It is completely secluded and very quiet while at the same time being close to all amenities. The bungalow is 80 m2 and has a 60m2 south facing terrace, as you come in you will find a fully fitted kitchen with everything you could possibly need. A Dining room area with seating for 6 and sitting room area with TV and WIFI, there are two bedrooms both with sea views and large built in wardrobes and blackout blinds at the windows. The main bedroom has a large double bed, and the second bedroom has two singles, both have spacious adjoining bathrooms with walk in showers.
The bungalow is completely private with a large terrace and amazing views, there is a shared swimming pool in front of the house behind where I live, I'm out or away most of the time but I might want exclusive access the odd day.
We provide sheets, duvets, blankets, bath towels, hand and beach towels, gel, shampoo, toilet paper, mops and soap.
There is detergent and fabric softener for the washing machine. We also provide iron, ironing board, pegs and clothesline.
We provide a heater for the occasional winter night although we don’t think you’ll need it!
If you are staying more than ten days in the bungalow, we will provide clean sheets and towels once a week.
We also have a baby cot and high chair available should you need them.
We provide full broadband Wi-Fi.
Smoking is forbidden inside the bungalow, you can smoke freely if you wish on the terrace.
Pets are not allowed without our consent.
Water is very scarce in Lanzarote and comes mostly from desalination plants with high CO2 emissions, so please use sparingly.
Tias is a bustling mainly Spanish village overlooking Puerto del Carmen. There are great supermarkets, butchers and grocers within 5 minutes walk of the house and Tias has numerous good restaurants as well as all amenities and chemists etc
Lanzarote enjoys year round good weather, great winter sun location being only 4 hours flight from the UK and northern Europe. Most famous local attraction is the Timanfaya National Park where you can see the most amazing volcanic lunar landscape. There are lots of other attractions not to miss like the caves at Jameos del Agua, the green caves, Mirador del Rio, El Golfo, the Sunday market at Teguise, Cesar Manrique's house, the cactus garden and the wine growing region at La Geria.
There are countless magnificent white sand beaches aswell as the famous black sand beach at El Golfo. The island is ideal for watersports such as surfing, kitesurfing, windsurfing, diving, snorkelling, fishing, boating, golf and swimming. The island is famous for triathlon and especially it's ironman international event. The island is a cycle paradise both for road and off road enthusiasts. There are fantastic sports facilities all over the island.
There is a bus stop just 400 metres from the house with buses going to all the island via this stop. However we do recommend hire car as it's cheap and provides the best access to see the islands many attractions.

Before you depart please tell us your arrival time and estimated time of arrival at the bungalow as we will try and meet you at the bungalow and show you around.
If for some reason we can’t be there we leave a key in a combination lock hanging from the front glass door: the code to open it is 6665, then open the box take the key out and open the main door.
The bungalow is in Tias, the address is: Calle Hoyo del Agua 22, 35572, Tias. It is the last house on the left at the end of the road.
We provide, sheets, bath and hand towels and beach towels these are left on your bed on arrival together with a bottle of water.
STAYING FOR MORE THAN A WEEK:
If you are staying for more than a week we will do a weekly clean together with sheet and towel changes.

CHEMIST AND HOSPITALS:
There are 2 chemists is in Tias both on the main road through Tias.
The nearest hospital is on the main road to Arrecife go down the hill past the airport then left hand lane and take the ring road round Arrecife then take the first exit signposted to the hospital.
There is a private hospital “Hospiten” next to the golf course in puerto del Carmen. It’s just down the hill towards Puerto del Carmen 5 minutes from the bungalow.
The wifi code for the bungalow is: alanhouse (all lower case).
There is a washing machine, ironing board, iron, clothes line and pegs al in the bathroom of the bedroom on the left.
In the UK plugs are fused, In Spain there is a big fuse box by the door, if something cuases a fuse to blow one of the switches in the fuse box will go down just remove the cause of the blown fuse (ie a broken toaster!) and turn the fuse back up.
Water is very scarce in lanzarote so please use it sparingly! Don’t leave taps running please.
Please don't smoke in the bungalow.
We have a small French Bulldog called that will often be in the garden, please don’t let him out as he goes walkabout! So please close the gate to your bungalow and the gate to the driveway after each use. So he stays in my garden!
You can use the swimming pool at any time it is solar heated so stays warm from about April to December around 28 degrees from january to march the temperature will depend on the weather, it never drops below about 22. Please replace the pool cover at the end of any day as the temperature drops a lot if it’s not covered overnight. If you use the pool in the morning and think you’ll use it again in the afternoon then you can leave it off.
Please ask to use the jakuzzi.
Pool table, table tennis and table football: Please use them anytime in the day.
LANZAROTE THINGS TO DO:
The following are some of the most famous of the many interesting historical sites and tourist venues on the island.
TIMANFAYA: The National Park of Timanfaya and Fire Mountains are in the central west area where volcanic debris covers an area of 200 sq. kms. The last eruption was in 1736.
PIRATE MUSEUM: Situated on a hilltop in the Castle of Santa Barbara, Teguise, in the centre of the island.
MIRADOR DEL RIO: A magnificent viewpoint centre designed by the artist and architect, Cesar Manrique. Fantastic views across to the island of La Graciosa in the north.
JAMEOS DEL AGUA AND CUEVA DE LOS VERDES: Caves beneath the lava on the north east coast.
THE CACTUS GARDENS: Between the villages of Guatiza and Mala on the east coast.
CASTILLO DE SAN JOSE: This old fort on the port of Arrecife houses the Museum of Contemporary Art.
CESAR MANRIQUE FOUNDATION: The magnificent former home of this well known artist, much loved by the people of Lanzarote, houses his private collection of paintings. It is situated in Tahiche.
MUSEUM TANIT In San Bartolome, central Lanzarote, houses a fascinating collection of local artefacts. Everything from lace to ploughs. The owners, whose ancestors came to the island from Madrid in the 18th century, still live there.
MUSEUM OF THE FARMER: near San Bartolome.and MUSEUM OF AGRICULTURE “EL PATIO”: in Tiagua, central Lanzarote.
AIRPORT MUSEUM: Inside the perimeter of the airport in Arrecife.
THE WINES OF LA GERIA: The wine region of La Geria has a large number of vineyards and wineries (“bodegas”) which are well worth a visit.
MUSEUM OF LAGOMAR: Museum and restaurant in the former home of Omar Sharif.
WHALE AND DOLPHIN MUSEUM: in Puerto Calero on the south east coast.
TEGUISE MARKET Every Sunday from 09.00-14.00 This famous market sells all sorts, from local produce and art to clothes, shoes, football t-shirts, trinkets, novelties!
